That Haley Nahman piece is straight FIRE, I was literally like YES YES FUCKING YES the whole time I was reading it because it so perfectly encapsulates everything I've been feeling for months. It inspires me to take myself even further offline, to really revel in the moment. The internet—a few small spaces excluded—is SO BORING. I am so done with it. Thankful for the good stuff it's brought me, but goddamn it's such a drag.
Anyway! Desire! Being so deep in motherhood and "mature student" life and post-Covid and whatever this pandemic is doing now, I feel like desire is an absolutely foreign concept, but I know it's lying there dormant, just waiting for me to give it the okay to electrify my life.
